Nanyang Coffee Powder at your wet market
If you’re in need for urgent supply, take a trip to your wet market. (post covid please, they are closed now)
You’d be surprised that some wet markets house a traditional kopi beans store. They are usually hidden among the dry goods store, let your nose be the guide and you’ll find them.
These stores tend to have a wide range of coffee beans you can choose from. Many of these stores sell coffee powder in smaller quantities of 200 to 500g. Some even have their own coffee blends that are mixed and ground, on demand. Although it may feel intimidating initially, go ahead and ask the store owner for recommendations if you’re not sure what to start with.
